Our Big Box O' Games Giveaway is back! We are giving away five great games worth nearly $140! Help us celebrate our Summer 2016 release of Casual Game Insider and 5th year Kickstarter campaign by entering to win.
- Lanterns: The Harvest Festival — a tile placement game set in imperial China. Players act as artisans decorating the palace lake with floating lanterns. Each tile placement helps the current player and all other players, so you have to choose wisely.
- Nevermore — A casual-style card drafting game where you rise to power by poisoning the hands of your opponents with cards they can't use, while attempting to collect the most of a suit, gaining its power for the hand.
- Bomb Squad — A cooperative game in which 2-6 players are members of a team operating a disposal robot with the mission to disarm bombs and save hostages. The players work together, racing against the clock to provide the appropriate instructions for the robot to achieve their mission objectives.
- Dungeon Roll — Players try to collect the most experience points by defeating monsters, battling the dragon, and amassing treasure in this dungeon crawling dice game.
- Valeria: Card Kingdoms — The land of Valeria is under siege by hordes of monsters. You and your fellow Dukes must recruit citizens and buy domains to build up your kingdoms and slay the foul creatures that lurk in the surrounding lands.

I am hearing only good things about this magazine. I just saw a competitor magazine in a bookstore and realized, what a great idea to get a magazine subscription exclusively about board games. Then within days, GeekDad linked to the Casual Game Insider kickstarter campaign. I realized this was an even better fit for me to read up on games. I'm really excited to catch up on old editions and get the new ones as well. I like that there are print and digital versions available.
As many games as I own, I actually don't have any of these. I have heard good things about Nevermore though. Played a demo of Dungeon Roll when it was first released and it was enjoyable.
I've only played Nevermore, but really liked it.
