Casual Game Revolution

A two-way interview between us (Chris and Melanie James of Stratus Games) and Rob Bartel, founder of Famous Games Co., about the history of our companies, the characteristics and importance of casual games, our future production plans, our game design and publishing processes, and much more.

It's been a long time coming, but in an effort to highlight our favorite casual games, we have now created a Recommended Games section. The list of games echoes those that are featured in each issue of Casual Game Insider, but also includes the ability to filter by game type, publisher, publication year, and MSRP, as well as sort by several options. Each game listing also includes an image, description, and basic information about the game.

We are happy to announce that we have added community forums to Casual Game Revolution! Our forums are the next step toward gathering a community of casual gamers that share similar interests.

Originally published in Casual Game Insider, this article gives the details about our history, our philosophies on gaming, the problems in the industry, and our proposed solutions.

If you haven't noticed, there has been this huge trend in America, that may overshadow our economic woes and be on the verge of reconstructing our entire society. This trend extends from the lowest economic strata to the very heart of the so-called "One Percent".

We are currently recruiting several authors who have a passion for casual games and are interested in volunteering to write occasional articles for our blog on a regular basis. The articles would include news and opinions about casual games, the casual game industry, and other hot topics. These contributions could pave the way for publication in our magazine and great exposure for the authors.

The Fall 2012 issue of Casual Game Insider is now officially released! We put a lot of effort into this inaugural issue, and we believe it has turned out very well. We hope that all of the casual gamers, game stores, publishers, and media who have received copies will find it to be everything they hoped for.
