- Asmodee has acquired the English language rights for Catan from Mayfair Games. As a result, Catan Studio has been formed to further build the Catan brand.
- The winner of the Hasbro Gaming Lab contest has been announced. The winning game is Irresponsibillity: The Mr Toast Card Game, designed by Dan Goodsell.
- Green Couch Games has announced Wok on Fire. It’s a 20 minute card game for 2 to 4 players and will be the company's fifth release.
