This month on Kickstarter: prepare to sally forth on an adventure by collecting gear and improving your strengths...or perhaps you’d rather stay home and make the ultimate mix tape?

Want a figurative explosion of bunnies or a literal explosion of turtles? This month's crowdfunders offer both, along with fluffy dragons and adorable whales.

This month brings games of cozy critters and wrathful factions. A classic co-op is getting the legacy treatment while an even older game is getting a modern update. There are also two microgames for solo gaming fans this month.

There’s a wide array of games this month on Kickstarter, with themes built around sea dragons, alien species collection, nature walks, and pottery studios. There’s also a collection of historical games and a new roll-and-write.

A new social deduction game hits Kickstarter, while a solo card game that casts you in the role of action hero finds its way to Gamefound. There are several light cards games also seeking crowdfunding, a sequel to a delightful dexterity game, and one board game full of penguins.

This is an exciting month for puzzle lovers, as two escape-room-like games are currently on Kickstarter. There’s also a new Tiny Epic game, a game themed around mini-game-loving pandas, a tactical card game, and more.

This month, Kickstarter is full of animals, from five abstract games in one box all themed around different animals, to a game of fox mystics and a tense duel between a shark and octopus.

Make cheesy delicacies or protect the coop as a heroic chicken! This month we have cooperative adventures, tense two-player head-to-heads, and solo micro games, as well as a unique book that is a story, game, and game design guide all rolled into one!

The right gem colors will earn points while the wrong ones will lose points. But you’ll need to collect a few of the wrong colors, at least, if you want a chance at making bets and winning cards.

This wonderfully elegant and engaging engine-building game from Spiel Des Jahres designer Randy Flynn (Cascadia) builds upon his growing reputation, as players compete to become the most famous carpet weaver.
