Santorini: Riddle of the Sphinx Announced
A cooperative expansion for Santorini has been announced and is expected to be released in May. "In this expansion comprised of a series of scenarios called "riddles", players will seek to complete tactical objectives to solve the riddles. However, if players exhaust their supply of Santorini tower pieces before an objective is completed, the riddle remains unsolved and must be played again."

The Vale of Eternity Released
Renegade Game Studios has released a new card drafting and set collecting game. "Enter a fantastical world of monsters, spirits, and gods! As a tamer, you’ll hunt and tame a variety of creatures, with the ultimate goal of capturing the powerful and noble dragons. With 70 creatures from global myths, each game is unique and unpredictable. In each round, players draft cards, take actions, and use the effects of their summoned minions. The player who tames the most outstanding creatures will emerge victorious."

Square One Announced
Boardcubator has announced a new game, which will launch on Kickstarter on April 23. "Square One is a fast-paced, time-based, engine-building game for 1-4 players."

8-Legged Peacock Announced
Brexwerx Games has announced their second game, set for release in August and inspired by the mating dance of the peacock spiders (anyone with arachnophobia had better pass on this one). "Match male dance move cards to the color and moves of your Maratus female card. Each round, players draft eight cards, then score points depending on symbols and colors. Mate tokens are awarded for getting specific dance combos. After a set number of rounds, points are added up and bonus points are awarded for collected colors and sets of mate tokens."

Tír na nÓg Retail Release
Tír na nÓg, a game inspired by Irish myth, was crowdfunded in 2023 and is now expected to hit retail in June of 2024. "Journey to the Otherworld by placing Storytellers between Story cards in the shared grid. When all Storytellers have been placed, draft cards and add them to your hand. From your hand, add cards to your tableau - one card to hand, one card played. At the end of 5 rounds, score each row according to the rules on its corresponding Goal card, and earn points for having the most connected Story cards of each color. "

Because play depends on dealt cards, it is entirely possible that the deck will be stacked against you. It’s also possible that the deck will serve up victory on a silver platter. But, as I said, the human fun is the communication puzzle.”
