- The Guardian suggests some great games to play this Christmas.
- Crash Games did something very much in the Christmas spirit this year, and donated over one thousand new games to Toys for Tots. The decision was influenced by the company's founder Patrick Nickell, who grew up in the foster system and his desire to make Christmas special for "thousands of children in the Seattle Metropolitan area".
- The deck-building game Dominion has finally hit mobile devices. The app is free to play for the base set of cards.
- New reviews this week of Poseidon's Kingdom (Desert News), One Night Revolution (Meeple Town), and Ultimate Warriorz (Board Game Quest).
- An interview with Darren Kisgen, the designer of Dragonwood, has been published in the Boston College Chronicle.
- A new subscription service called Tabletop Monthly, which will deliver games to your door every month, is open for pre-order. You can read our review of a preview of the service here.
- The Ticket to Ride iOS app has been updated. There is new cross-platform multiplayer and the game is now compatible with new maps.
- Inverse has gathered together a list of the 12 best Instagram accounts that focus on board games.
