Asmodee Set to Release Three Games in August
This August, Asmodee is set to release three Giochi Uniti games. "Bar Barians is a fighting game where players battle through the effects of ever-flowing booze and drunk opponents[...]Smiles and Daggers, players engage in an language independent card game where they have to read opponents' empty promises and fake smiles to collect a number of gold coins[...]Midnight Brunch is a bidding card game that revolves around a monster banquet. Munchkin Dungeon Announced
Steve Jackson Games and CMON have announced Munchkin Dungeon and its first expansion Side Quest, both of which are released this week. "Players take on the role of, well, adventurers (called Munchkins) who explore a Dungeon… I guess we sorta hit the nail right on the head with the title, didn’t we? Anyway, players compete to gain levels and loot in their never-ending quest for Fame (well, the game does eventually end, but you can play again and again and again). Each Munchkin has their own class dashboard showing off all the cool things they can do as they level up. Each dashboard is different, giving players special advantages every game."

Stampede Out Now
WizKids has released new set collection card game, Stampede, as well as a free print and play expansion. "Players seek to collect sets of animal stamps, either 5 of the same animal or 9 distinct animals, in order to stamp out the competition! They achieve this by searching for the best trades from the stamp exchange- a center pile of stamps, or by trading with other players. Each animal stamp has a unique action that grants different effects when played into a player’s stamp album."

Vampire: The Masquerade Rivals Expandable Card Game Announced
Renegade Game Studios has announced a card game set in the world of the Vampire: The Masquerade. The game will hit Kickstarter next month. "You will vie for control of the City while targeting your randomly selected “Rival.” Your coterie will use various abilities, attacks, recruited mortal thralls and schemes to battle your opponents on the streets or in their Havens. To win, you will need to score 13 Agenda, defeat your specific Rival by reducing their Prestige (the main resource of the game) to 0, or by sending your Rival’s last active vampire to torpor."
