- Portal Games' Imperial Settlers, a card game about building empires, exploring new land and trading recourses, is available for pre-order.
- Foxtrot Games is offering a free print-and-play of Lanterns. You can download it here.
- The Storymatic has released a new story telling game called Rememory, in which players use the story cards to tell each other memories.

- Mayfair Games releases Johari this week. Players try to become a successful jewelry seller, and maybe sell a few fakes along the way.
- The Gen Con lists are still coming in. Bower's Game Corner has released a video of the top 10 games from the convention.
- The BBC has written an interesting article about the board game Mensch Aergere Dich Nicht (or Don't Get Annoyed With Me in English) that was invented in Germany during War World I and is still popular in the country today. It's a nice look into history as well as a testament to the power of board games.
