E.T. Light Years From Home

New Cooperative E.T. Game
Funko Games has announced E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial: Light Years From Home, a cooperative game set for release later this year. "You race around the neighborhood using ramps and shortcuts to avoid federal agents bent on capturing E.T. To win, you must find all the parts of the device and get E.T. to the clearing when the mothership arrives to pick him up."

Stonemaier Games has announced a brand new edition of Libertalia, with pre-orders opening March 2. "Libertalia was originally released in 2012. Doctor Who: Don't Blink Announced
Gale Force Nine has a new Doctor Who themed board game, set for release later this year and with a thirty-minute playtime. "In this one versus many game for two to five players, the TARDIS has crashed on a derelict spaceship full of weeping angels. Weeping angels appear to be statues when you are looking at them, but when you look away or even blink, they creep closer and their touch can send you out of time. One player controls a cadre of weeping angels. The other players take on the role of Doctor Who and his companions."

Three Mini Warhammer Games Announced
Three new, smaller games have been announced in the Warhammer universe. All three are designed to be played in thirty minutes and to be easily accessible. "We all love these games, but many people haven’t yet had the chance to get involved – or are daunted by the prospect of lengthy playtimes and complex rules. If you want to quickly introduce people to these fantastical universes of bloody warfare (and even bloodier team sports), look no further than the following brand new games – designed to be easy to pick up and play."

Renegade Con Winter 2022
Renegade Game Studios has announced their next virtual convention, set for March 4-5. "We've got a full schedule of panels, workshops, and live plays, and there's sure to be something you won't want to miss! Check out the schedule of events below, then join us on Discord and Twitch to be ready for the festivities!"

The Captain is Dead Expansion
AEG has released a new expansion for their cooperative game The Captain is Dead. "Nobody knows what Priggles are or where they came from. What is known is that they don’t like the aliens. Or maybe it’s the aliens that don’t like them? Either way, who cares? The important thing is that they can be used against the aliens, and that makes them really handy. Unfortunately, they’re clingy little things, and once they get their cute little hooks in you, it can be really hard to shake them off..."

MicroMacro: Crime City (There Will Be Games): “Phenomenal, and worth picking it up to play alone, or with friends. Even if there's not much to do once you've finished the game, you're always able to pass it on to a friend.”

A Royal Will (Geeks Under Grace): “A fun, short game that will induce laughs and good-natured temper-tantrums when played with the right group. When compared to its cousins Love Letter and Coup, A Royal Will has a leg up in the player engagement category because no one is ever eliminated.”

Neoville (Just Push Start): “Neoville is one of Phil Walker-Harding’s more streamlined designs. Skyscrapers and utilities add interesting ways to score points, though are intuitive objectives that will work well with a family audience. Turns are fast, with the game rocketing around the table, which limits downtime – keeping everyone invested from the get go.”
