AEG has announced Meeples & Monsters, set for release next year. "During a player’s turn, they draw meeples out of their bag and use those meeples to perform various actions on the board. Those actions include upgrading your meeples, adding new meeples to your bag, fighting monsters, or even upgrading the town giving players even more options on future turns. Juicy Fruit (Gaming With Sidekicks): “I love the simplicity of the choices in this game but how that allows for thoughtful and deliberate decision-making on the part of all the players involved. The puzzle sliding aspect of your personal board is a fun throwback to a style of toys we enjoyed as kids and lends itself perfect to this resource collection model in the game.”
