KTBG is my go-to. Problem Picnic has had incredible staying power with my kids. But the recent ones - Fossilis and Creature Comforts - man, that's what's going to turn them into gamers. They actually chose CC over video games the other day.

Gamelyn Games should do a new line of games that huge but are filler length. What's the opposite of epic in a good way?

As much as I love KTBG it should be said that the kids they playtest with are probably interested in the hobby already. For adults who are new to modern board games they can still feel rather complex.
