Kotaku gives a very positive review for the digital adaptation of Tokaido. "This is how board games should be adapted. Planet (Gizmodo): “Like most board games, this one takes some practice. My first two rounds involved a lot of back and forth with my roommates regarding the rules. I didn’t win any rounds initially, but by my second sesh when I played with my boyfriend (this is a two person-friendly game), I had my strategy down to a science, building my largest habitat regions around what the animal cards on the table demanded.”
