Our Big Box O' Games Giveaway is back with the best in sports games! Sit back and enjoy watching your favorite sports during the holidays, then keep the competition going with your friends and family around the table with these fun games. Or, put them under the Christmas tree for the sports fans in your life. This giveaway is worth over $110!
- NHL Ice Breaker (CSE Games): A hockey simulation game that is best described as a combination of a playing card game and a board game.
- Hand-Off (CSE Games): A football simulation game that combines the strategy and decision making of playing cards with the drama and tension of college football. The LSU Tigers and Florida Gators editions are both included in the giveaway!
- The World's Smallest Sports Games (Famous Games Co.): These 6 micro-games are fantastic stocking stuffers, yet offer remarkably fun gameplay despite the small size. Famous Fastballs, Famous First Downs, Famous 500, Famous Fairways, Famous Forehand, and Famous Flagships are all included in the giveaway!
Enter below to win, and be sure to invite your friends. One lucky winner will receive a brand new copy of all 9 games!
I'd like to see some reviews of Stratus Games (I think one ever so often wouldn't be seen as a conflict of interest).
I'm interested in seeing a review of Kickstarters that you think are worth backing. Like slash: romance without boundaries by Games by Playdate, or the recently funded King's Forge.
This may not be a casual type game, but I'd like to see a review of the new Ogre game by Steve Jackson.
We publish a monthly crowdfunding roundup with our favorite casual games. Here is the latest one.
I too would like to see Kickstarter recommendations. I have backed a lot of card decks, but have been more hesitant with games.
I would also like to see more two-player games. We don't have kids, and we're not very social (as a matter of a fact, we've often been described as "stereotypical nerds", though I consider us more geeky) so we prefer two player games. I have had good luck with two-player games by Kosmos (Lost Cities and Ceasar and Cleopatra in particular), but I am generally reluctant to take a chance on a good quality (hence more expensive) game without having some information about it. So, I think it would be great if you would review more two player games and maybe even run a series on older games (two-player, especially) that are still worth-while buying.
this would be awesome to win!
I'd like to see some reviews or articles that compare some of the lighter dungeon crawls available. Thanks!
the game snake oil would make a awesome gift for my nephew
I would love to have the "Off Your Rocker" game. My family always plays games together at holidays.
Thank you for the great giveaway. My family loves to play games.
I'd love to see reviews of card games; something fun like Phase 10.
we are a game board kind of family
