Kickstarter

Pick-and-pass is a popular mechanism this month on Kickstarter, including in the newest game in the Tiny Epic series. There are also games of breakfast foods, hunting fantastical creatures to add to your nature park, a tactical skirmish game played with just eighteen cards, and a solo roll-and-write about safe cracking.

Drive your cart through the streets, collecting trash, to clean up the city. Or at least the part of the city you care about. Because, of course, you want to clean up your streets faster than your opponents — so there’ll be bombs, explosions, and backstabbing as you try to set them back.

KOSMOS has launched a new line of games, Days of Wonder has announced a new Ticket to Ride expansion, and Floodgate Games has released Décorum.

This month’s Kickstarters will pit you against giant guardians, destruction-mad kaijus, and prehistoric dangers. But if you’re looking for something a little more laid back theme, there’s also some tricky golf, bird watching, flower growing, and an abstract tile-laying game.

There is an eclectic mix of casual games on Kickstarter this month, including several dexterity games, a roll-and-write game, multiple cards games, a very creatively packaged party game, and a book of light-weight RPGs.

Hunt down a secret base or destroy a rogue AI in order to save the solar system. But you can only work together so much, as only one player can be the victor.

A world bound together by spark, contracts that cannot be broken, and a creator that is beginning to resent the growing power of those who control the spark — will you survive?

Battle it out to be the cleanest baby ninja. You never know when the round will end so you always need to be prepared!
