Asmodee has acquired the English language rights for Catan, Hasbro Gaming Lab has announced the winner of their contest, and Green Couch Games has a new game coming out later this year.
Some games blur the line between a tabletop dexterity game and a sport – Foosball and Air Hockey are both good examples, but they require expensive equipment and a lot of space.
Munchkin: Marvel Edition has been announced, there’s a life sized version of Candy Land in Ohio, and websites are posting their board game Christmas list suggestions.
Tasty Minstrel has new releases this month, Forbidden Desert will be developed for a board game app, and International Games Day @ Your Library is this Saturday.
