Z-Man has announced a new game, the winners of this year’s Golden Geek Awards have been revealed, and the video game Magicka is getting its own card game designed by a ten year old.
Years ago, my wife gave me a card table. This wasn’t the flimsy type with the padded top our (or at least, my) parents bought; this has a resin top and folds in half. It was a great gift, since we have run out of gaming space once or twice during my group’s monthly gaming sessions. However, card tables aren’t always the best option, particularly for games with larger boards, and so the question of “where do we set up?” arises. Size, shape, height and surface are all considerations.
Each new installment in IELLO’s line of Tales & Games fairy-tale inspired board games offers something unique and different—and Little Red Riding Hood is no exception.
There’s a lot of backstabbing and betrayal afoot this month on Kickstarter, from poisonings and social deduction games to potential love gone wrong. But to lighten the mood there are also cute cats and adorable Cthulhus (yes, apparently Cthulhu can be adorable).
Arcane Wonders has a new game available for pre-order, Thames & Kosmos has announced a whole slew of new games, and Fireside Games has released a second edition of Bears!.
Jobstacles, now on Kickstarter, brings something a little new to the table, taking familiar mechanics and adding a little strategy and definite theme to create a tight, fun, and enjoyable party game.
