We are pleased to announce that the iPad version of Casual Game Insider is now available as an in-app purchase! Previously, the magazine was only available for purchase on the HP Magcloud website (our digital distribution partner). To view it on an iPad, additional steps were required to then download it to the device for reading. However, a recent update to the Magcloud app now allows users to purchase the publication from within the app using their iTunes account.

Casual Game Insider has reached a new milestone! We recently struck a deal with PHD, the third U.S. board game distributor to carry the magazine since its inaugural issue was released in October, 2012. PHD has warehouses in Florida, New Jersey, and Texas, all of which will be distributing the magazine to the active retailers in their area of distribution. These warehouses, in addition to five others from ACD and GTS Distribution, will allow the magazine to reach a new milestone of 2,000 retail stores. Click here to read the full press release.
Gold Mine is the tile-laying game that started it all for Stratus Games (and, by extension, Casual Game Revolution). In Gold Mine, players take on the role of miners excavating a maze of mine tunnels and secret passages in search of gold nuggets.
Square Shooters was featured back in the first issue of Casual Game Insider and we now have a brand new copy to give away to our readers. This fun dice game puts playing cards on dice, bringing new life to many classic games. Enter below to win!
What do medieval kingdoms do best? Why, acquire treasure, of course! But if you really want to make sure you have more treasure than the neighboring kingdoms, you might as well steal theirs.
What do you think is "probably a bad idea"? Giant cyborg boogers? An unholy cockroach temptress? Or maybe a super bad exploding unicorn? In Word Whimsy, by Cryptozoic Entertainment, you get the chance to decide which of these often random and nonsensical answers is best. In the right atmosphere and with the right people, this can lead to a ton of juvenile laughter that will make you feel like you're in middle school again.
